Do you use a mouse pad? And what kind?
For a long time I haven't used one at all, having a laser mouse with almost perfect tracking no matter the surface. But lately my control been going to crap as the wooden surface of my desk has lots of little holes n chips in it n the control goes whacky when the laser hits one.
Couple weeks ago I picked up this micro-fiber mouse pad in Staples, as it said cool things like worlds best mousing surface and cleans mouse as you use it, all over the package. Its a good idea and all, but it feels like trying to use a mouse on a washcloth, its extremely slow and sluggish movement on it.
So today I just got this in the mail, the
Razer Mantis mousepad, I got the one made for Control, and is why I'm making this post just to say, if you don't have one of these, get one! Its freakin huge first of all, like 4 or 5 times the size of a normal mousepad, running the mouse off the side of a pad will never be a problem again, but the feeling of extremely precise control while using it is amazing! If feels like I just got a brand new mouse, it is EXTREMELY precise and smooth easy motion on it. Don't know how I ever went without one of these, worth every penny.
