Rounded Corners
« on: December 16, 2006, 03:54:07 PM »
I remember Ryan made a post about that Google link that generates rounded corners by changing the url around a bit. Well, here's a site that does it for you:

http://www.roundedcornr.com/

I am not a web designer so I don't know how well the site does it's job. Hopefully it turns out to be helpful.

That's an amazing site and definitely something I'm going to bookmark. The only thing that these never seem to let you do is specify the rounding according to a width/height. That is why the Google rounded corners were special because you didn't have to give it just a radius...you could actually make it more oval like. Still a nice find though!

Rounded corners are a problem, I think there meant ot be included in CSS3, if the spec ever gets released.

Even it does get included Internet Explorer won't support them for years so they'll be useless. ;)

I never saw the point in these rounded corner sites. It's easier just to make your own and use multiple divs and images.
