This is so cool. First you type in a search term, and click Search With Guide. This sends you search to a person who works for chacha who is an expert in searching (I didn't know they had those). This person then conducts the search, and sends out results in the results frame. There's also a chat on the left side of the screen. You can explain to the person specifically what you're trying to find. I still think it might be a bot. I tried a random search on learning to drive manual. This is the conversation:

Status: Looking for a guide ...
Status: Looking for a guide ...
Status: Connected to guide: LisaE
LisaE: Welcome to ChaCha!
LisaE: Hello
You: Hi LisaE.
LisaE: Give me a few moments to find this for you
You: Of course.
You: Thank you very much.
You: Those three results are great. I don't think I need any more.
You: Thanks. I'm done.

And then the results were to the right of the chat, and there were 3 relevant results:

Nothing Google couldn't find but this was much more fun. This is probably useful if you're doing a research project and can't find any good sources. The person or bot on the other end could help you out with that. Great search engine. Try it out!

So it on Digg and Del.icio.us today. I aren't tried it yet but 14,000 people for search engine is bit a extreme  B|

This is still mind boggling...I can't see them staying afloat for that long unless they really target household moms and others who have a hard time finding what they are looking for.
