How much out of 100% do you recommend this?

And also, I installed it to try it out.  I can't seem to find a place where you can scan the state and files of you computer, then it tells you what have been added and changed when another program has been installed.

But I have to admit, this looks like a good program.

I'm actually pretty shocked...I haven't seen an uninstaller application that scans for things left over by a program. Nice find!

It's done the job I wanted, even though not in the way I thought it would be done.  Very clever program, after my full evaluation.

sceptism can be good

are you sure it can add letterboxes on widescreen videos and cut bits off a 4 to 3 video to make it a letterboxed widescreen?

ps, i wonder why it is called avidumux?  it surely doesn't just support avi files?

You also gotta add Windows SteadyState.  It's the best program and concept I've used in a while!  This all started when I went to my uncle's home few months back.  They have a PC in the living room which everyone uses included kids.  You guys can't imagine the amount of crap on that pc even with spyware and Norton installed!  The thing was so out of control that IE will start itself out of the blue even when no one was using the computer and would open over a dozen windows including some porn sites!  You couldn't do anything on that computer because by the time you'd close any windows, it'd automatically open many new and you're already out of memory to do anything.

So one of my cousins spent two days in cleaning the computer and even after that I couldn't trust it.  So that got me thinking that there got to be some way where you won't have to reinstall windows everything something nasty happens to  your computer.  I first stumbled out DeepFreeze and I downloaded their trial version.  That thing screwed up my laptop.  The only way to get rid of it was to format my disk!  So I finally came across Windows SteadyState by microsoft and amazingly, it's totally free.  Basically it allows you to create user and user profile with restricted access (you must have seen how you can use a library computer for very limited purposes like searching or browsing library catalogue; It's the similiar functionality).  But what I was looking for was soemthing that will wipe off whatever changes you've made during a computer session and reboot with a "clean slate".  That way even if your computer gets infected with spyware or viruses, all you have to do is restart your computer and with a virtual poof they're gone!  You'll always have your computer the same way every time.  Windows SteadyState allows that.  It has a feature called Disk protection which basically does that same thing.  I've been using it for past week or so and so far everything is just perfect!

I surprisingly never knew that Microsoft created that software. Is there anyway to save the changes that were made to the system though before rebooting it?

Oh come on, it's so much more fun coming up with your own meaning for acronyms. :)

That Calendar Magic looks really interesting though.
