1) When I add multiple files, music or video, sometimes I want the files played in a specific order. I order the files like I want them in the folder and select all of them, then right-click the first one and press play. But
when WMP11 opens, it places the files in the playlist in a different order, randomly I suppose. I turned off shuffle in the options and it still does this. I never had this problem in WMP10 when I had it. Does anybody know how to fix this?

2) When I have multiple files in the playlist, and I'm watching one file, I decide to delete the file from the playlist in the middle because I'm done watching it. When I had WMP10, it automatically played the next file in the playlist, but now it doesn't do that. Anybody know how to fix this?

eer since ive had wmp11 all ive had is problems so i dont bother if you google up vlc and winap theyll sort you just fine there my fav.s to be honest (i would link them but am of to work in 2 )

I use VLC too but sometimes I like using WMP11.

Okay, I was just playing around to see if I could try and figure out the problem. I am using WMP 11 on Vista so I'm not sure if this will be any different for you.

1) When you select the files in a folder and right-click to play them make sure you right-click on the first song that you want played. Whatever song you right-click on, doesn't matter if you do have a bunch selected, will be the first one to be played and the remaining order will be based off of that one. This is probably why you thought the order was random.

2) I couldn't figure anything out with this one so it must just be a feature that got changed.

Actually, I do select the first song to be played and it still plays a different one sometimes. Sometimes it does play the song I right-clicked on. That's why I think it's random.

That must be a bug in the Windows XP version then because on Vista it always played the song that I right-clicked on first. I tried looking around the Web for someone else experiencing similar problems but couldn't find anything.
