Backing Up Ubuntu

Creating backups is just a waste of time. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it until my hard drive crashes. :D

Yeah, I know the feeling. But with HDD's beign so cheap. I figure I could grab a 20-30gb one, just to do system backups.

And then what will you do.  ???

Having two hard drives crash on me within a few months is more than enough to make me create backups. :)

I don't think I have important data on my hard drive. Except maybe for some BBC idents I edited so that they don't contain a voiceover, but I can always re-download and re-edit them. Long live Gmail, where all your e-mails are stored on Google's servers!
