I have seen this story all day on Digg continue to climb higher and higher...but when I go to signup for an account there is only the cellphone text message option. Does anyone have a screenshot of what the signup screen looks like without needing a text message? I would like to write an article on the blog about it but it doesn't work for me.

I don't think you can according to the FAQ...

Quote
Can I sign up without the invitation code? Or without a mobile phone?
You need to receive and enter a special invitation code in order to create an account. Currently, we are only sending these codes as text messages to mobile phones. So you will need to have a mobile phone with text message capabilities (most phones have this) and the invitation code itself.

Also noticed the further down you go in Digg the more people are saying this is not true... >B\

So you're telling me that nearly 2500 people have dugg that without trying it themselves? I saw the people who have said it doesn't work for them as well but I figured it was only working for certain people.

I haven't a clue, but most of the people who say it doesn't work aren't in the US. I looked and didn't see a way of creating an account without a phone.

I still got 99 invites too. Anyone feel free to send me a personal message, or add me to msn messenger, if need one.
