Any suggestions for a good newsgroup reader that runs on Ubuntu? I would really want one that is good for downloading, not really so much for reading text posts.

Thunderbird seems to have built-in Usenet functionality. I never use that feature though.

Email programs as a general rule are not good for downloading mulit-part binary posts.

Yeah, unfortunately I've only known people to use Thunderbird on Ubuntu for reading newgroups.
