I'm a little late to the ballgame on this service, but I just started using Pandora....and I love it!
It's actually kinda of cool wondering which song will be playing next, considering it's based on what you like..and I like how you can purchase songs from iTunes in a couple of clicks.
I thought my song list on my iPod had peaked, but Pandora has given me lots of new ideas.
Any Pandora users here?

I've used Pandora in the past a couple of times. But then these damn lawyers made Pandora block all non-US residents...

Which is probably why I don't like it. I new there was a reason I use Last.fm, its similar, but not the same
I saw CBS purchased Last.fm today.
I hope this is a good thing!!

I tried Pandora once...just long enough that it stopped and asked me to register. I quit at that point. Seemed ok though.

That brings up a question I had for awhile. Is there anyway to make a site think you are from another country? For example, I live in Canada, but when I go to CBS to watch full episodes of shows, I get the message that "This content is not available to viewers outside the United States." Its frustrating.

We have had this discussion before..part of the problem is I think the site's looks at your IP address so even if you were to say change your Firefox user agent to make it look like you were in another country, it won't work.

Al is correct. It is possible to determine where you are in the world from your IP address.

Ah, I didn't realize that Pandora actually "learns" from the music that you like. The only online radio that I ever listen to is XM since I am familiar with all of their chanels and get the online service for free with my monthly subscription. I might have to try Pandora out though.

Have you tried something like Torpark? It would be to slow to stream content, however you could diasble Tor once you moved beyond the point that currently stops you.
