The photouploaderthing doest like PNG files. I've had that problem before. In ubuntu, just change the extension to JPG when you take the screenshot!

Also, are there any options in those menus, try changing them or something maybe?

I messed with the Options but nothing seemed to change.  I posted on the Ubuntu forum so may be I'll get some help there.  I should also post in my blog as that was where I found out about disabling the APIC.  Next time I boot into Ubuntu I'll see if I have sound again. :P

Does any one know of a good exorcist, I say my system is possessed!  This morning I but into Ubuntu to try out a couple of the suggestions people left on the Ubuntu Forums as well as my Blog and what da ya know, I have sound.

Hopefully fx3 will be to blame, then you can point the finger at unreliable alpha software. Otherwise, can you disable the onboard sound in the bios?
Yep, it was that darn "unreliable alpha software" works fine in Fx2
