Check this out: http://www.fullcirclemagazine.org/

Download full circle issue #0

But that's just a small preview. Ronnie (the editor) is currently working on issue #1, which is 44 pages! Keep your eye on fullcirclemagazine.org, it will be available for download soon!

Oh, and if your native language is not English, please consider translating full circle in your native language. For those of you who speak Dutch (anyone? ;)): I've translated #0 into Dutch and I'm currently working on #1. Click!

How nice of you to translate it, Pieter. Do you live in the Netherlands?

I really like the layout of the magazine and it is very easy to read. I wonder if it ever gains enough attention whether they are going to send it to be printed, and then try to get paid subscribers?

I really like how they are using the Tiny Portal mod for SMF which integrates the forum with a blog rather nicely.

Here's the weird thing: I speak Dutch but I'm not Dutch. Don't know if I've told this before, but Belgium is considered to have three native languages. That's because our country is divided in three parts. The first part, Flanders, is where I live. People who live in Flanders usually have Dutch as their native language. Then there's Wallonia, where most people speak French. And finally: the East Cantons, where the majority of the people who live there speak German.

It's somewhat like Canada, but we have three native languages here instead of two. And we have to learn speak all three of them. That doesn't mean that I'm good at speaking French or German though. :D

I didn't even notice the TinyPortal thing, and looking at the TinyPortal website makes it sound like it is easy for anyone to setup: http://www.tinyportal.net/

That is actually pretty cool. I think the hardest thing about learning a foreign language is getting the accent right, because when I learned French I definitely didn't sound French. :)

Reminds me of friends from Morocco. Their native language is Arabic, but from what I understand, most people speak French fluently there, and many also know some English.

I don't have trouble with that. Maybe that's because we don't dub movies, unlike the French and the Germans. Sweden doesn't dub movies either, and they seem to have a very good accent as well.
