Uncyclopedia - Everything that the Wikipedia is not!
« on: May 02, 2007, 07:47:11 AM »
-- Warning: this site can decrease your productivity! --

They're politically incorrect, use sarcasm and are actually funny. They call themselves Uncyclopedia.

Quote
Uncyclopedia is an encyclopedia full of misinformation and utter lies. You might say it puts the "psych!" in "encyclopedia". It's sort of like Congress or Parliament, but unlike Congress or Parliament, we do have a sense of humor. Nonetheless, this is one of the only factual pages, before everything turns into a puddle of utter confusion and disarray. Savor it. And for the love of Sophia, we know you like disarray, (and confusion) but stop adding confusion to this non-confusing page which leads to confusion, and possibly disarray. Which we wish to stop. Non-non-confusion, that is. Not disarray. Or is it the other way around?

I know about this site for quite few month's and makes me laugh - One of the errors you will get on Windows XP from the article

How to Secure Windows XP

1. Switch to Linux 2. Yer... that's it. 3. Put fireworks in your CD tray.

For those without comedic tastes, the so-called experts at Wikipedia have an article about Microsoft Windows XP

Windows Vista UAC in Action

Man, that occasional Russian reversal stuff is killing me! I've seen it pop up hundreds of times on the Uncyclopedia, but it's still so damn funny... :D

That is absolutely hilarious! I hadn't heard about that site before but some of the things are killing me!

I think we'll have to feature this site in one of our Friday articles.  O0

I think the first one is the best on that list:

Quote
When an employee approaches you to ask if you need help finding anything as if you're freakin' four or something, speak extremely broken English in third person with a low voice, except when you're saying what you need, which you should say perfectly and in your normal voice. *Tip: make the thing you need very technical-sounding.* (i.e. "Hey, need help finding anything today?" "Ya, [your name] reeeely, reeely needzerz aerh bahnd nay-ewgeegoo HP Pavilion Laptop Computer witna ahbai Intel Dual-Core Processor. Undu makey itz cumpooortibuhb wiba Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition unsdper Microsoft Windows Vista Beta dooopoabgz *snorrt*.). It's great.
