This is definitely something to checkout...a homemade rollercoaster! Here are the specs:

Number of Drops: 4
Lift hill angle: 26.6 degrees
1st Drop: 54 degrees
2nd Drop: 43 degrees
Curve banking: 50 degrees
Duration: About 1 minute
Cart: Single Car, Wood and Steel Construction
Capacity: Single Rider
Chain Lift: 1HP Motor, 3/4″ Pitch Roller Chain/Sprockets

Overall:
9,500 lbs (4.75 Tons) Lumber
7,000 Screws/Nails
2,900 board feet of lumber

Check Hacked Gadgets for more images as well as a video of the rollercoaster. :) Sounds like fun but I don't know if I would trust myself building such a thing.

May be it is me (I am still a little out of it from having some teeth pulled yesterday) but this doesn't make sense: B#

I'm guessing that the tallest part is actually 17 feet high, kinda like the portion in the picture I posted. If you watch the video they obviously go down a hill so that is probably considered the drop, but is probably only a foot or so tall since it is hardly off the ground.

That's just my guess though.
