Wow, the IMAX version of the movie was incredible. The IMAX scenes which took up the whole enormous IMAX screen were spectacular. I just hope there were more of them. Thoughts:
1) I thoroughly loved the movie. The action was great, and it was funny at points.
2) The CGI was amazing. Devastator's transformation was epic and just incredible to see (his transformation was an IMAX scene by the way).
3) Some parts of the movie were a bit stupid and unnecessary and could have been cut out for different scenes.
4) Everyone on the internet is abuzz with the racist robots Mudflap and Skids. I didn't mind them at all. People who say the robots are racist are just projecting their own beliefs on them. The robots could have been any ethnicity (if robots even had an ethnicity). People just blow things out of proportion on the internet.
5) Go see it. It's awesome. If you liked Transformers, you'll enjoy Transformers 2.
