I really do love the customizable homepage options that are available because you can put as much or as little "stuff" as you want on it.

I have my homepage set to Google, but I actually never use it. I don't even have the homepage button visible in Firefox anymore and it is setup to restore my tabs everytime I start the browser. So I really don't have a homepage. :)

You just have a bunch of pages loaded in tabs when you start Firefox then?

As much as I like the concept of start-up pages (Netvibes, iGoogle, etc.) I never seem to actually use one.

I just have my Firefox browser and about 8 tabs that open up with it (this forum being one of those tabs). :)

I wouldn't say that I actually "use" mine either. It's there, and it opens everyday when I start my browser, but I don't spend any time looking at it. I kinda have a morning routine of sites I check, so once my browser is open I start making the rounds.

Firefox just restores whatever tabs I had open when I closed the browser. This is a setting in the homepage dropdown menu (located in the Options) and that way I never have to worry about getting through all the sites I have open, because I can always pick up where I left off.

This is exactly the same thing that I do.  iGoogle is my homepage, but I really do not use it.  However, since the mentioning of having Firefox restore the last session, I have mine set now with the normal sites I visit loaded in tabs and just let them load with Firefox, then do my "rounds".

I've always used Yahoo as my home page. It has everything I need. One thing I don't like about most personalized home pages is that they're too simple and there's not enough pictures. I like to see stuff like the featured section on Yahoo.

And that's what all of us should do. Seriously: support Google's competitors! Cause once they've gone bankrupt, Google will conquer the world... ;)

The only Google products I really use right now are Gmail, Google Talk, and the search engine. The others are cool, but not something I use regularly.

Most people only use their search engine but that's the only thing they needed to become so big.

I just use a blank page myself. No matter what other page I've ever used there has been times when it causes a slow start up of Firefox.. due to Internet lag or whatever. Yes I even use to use Google for a while.. but it's done it before too. So, blank works best for me.
