I just posted about this on the blog and added a link to this discussion. Don't worry...I live in the US and I haven't been able to get beyond the homepage. Figures that when Microsoft offers something for free their servers would crap out.

Does anybody know if you have to pay to register for the webcast?  I, too, haven't been able to get past the homepage.

Webcasts in the past have all been free and the reason they are doing it is to get feedback and with the business launch of Vista tomorrow I suspect that these will be some sort of "training" webcasts. If they go well then they will promote them so that businesses have an easier time transitioning.

I still haven't been able to get past the homepage so I don't know if you have to pay for anything but since it is to benefit them you shouldn't have to pay. Who knows though.

I can go beyond the homepage and see the page with "Yes, send me the the free gift".
However, I can't get further because the gift is only avaliable for US resident only... I have no address in the US for them to send the gift to.

I can finally get through but the webcasts sound pretty boring.

I have watched 3 webcasts and 2 were okay and the third was boring.  Now, I just have to wait for the email confirmation which I heard is batched processed so it'll be a day or two.  I watched the ones for the Office 2007.  It was tough to get in, so once I did I sat through all 3 in a row.

I watched all 3 webcasts, and i agree with everyone. boooorrring, but well worth it for free vista.  once the site refreshes tomorrow, hopefully I'll get my confirmation email and then the countdown to vista begins!

I am yet to watch a webcast from them but any hints on the length and what is expected after you watch it?
