I think everyone knows its Firefox. Maybe we should change this to "What program, other than Firefox, do you install on a fresh computer?"

MOST of them were though. The MAJORITY of people are Firefox fans and thats the first thing they install. I'm sure this will vary if you broaden the people asked. I should have been clearer

Windows Task Manager can kill things too, why do you use WinPatrol then?

startup programms, and it informs you when new things have been installed and are in your startup without the need to constantly go to msconfig as well as this when your insalling media players it informs you that your changing file type association, ie toolbars etc.....(still need ie) as well as "services" so its all right there on your door step as wwell as this the freeware portion still gives you most of the definitions of the programs microsoft has so if you dont know it will help you out instead of finding a reliable source etc..... it can remove cookies etc.....

Advanced WindowsCare V2.... They only thing I have ever found to improve my PC performance and I have tried them all.  Just uncheck the Registry Cleaning option.  My opinion after years and years of cleaning tweaking... messing with registry is entering the GATES OF HELL.

That is hilarious...and I definitely agree with trying to modify the registry!

I've modded my registry before.  Nothing major (I didn't want to screw anything up), but I have made some small changes when something bothered me enough and I was sure of what I was doing.
