cant stand avast it just annoys me i relay dont know why but i did like the 30 day trial of nod it persuaded me to think about nod32 3 year contract more .....

Well, Avast is just a bit, massive, with its standard install, but I always custom install it and choose nothing but the resident scanner.

Firefox because then I could use it to download all the other programs from around the web. And I can't do it through IE :P

Maybe DirectX... i know that windows with a Anti-Virus is like Windows and a Virus...

I totally agree with you about AV software, if you use your PC with your brains you don't need it.

I totally agree with you about AV software, if you use your PC with your brains you don't need it.

I'm surprised at how many of those programs I haven't heard of...and I thought it was just going to be the typical open source list when I saw Firefox and Thunderbird on there. Nice find!

Yup, I saw in on Digg either yesterday night or this morning. I don't recall.

what you can never say that dosent matter what you do you can still get a virus some way or another ....

I have heard that story plenty of times before...results in some good PC work for me. :)

Lol, yeah, its just annoying when ure not ignorant though. It wasnt that funy when it happenned to me, I lost lots of great stuff.
