I've used it on Flock with Photo Bucket.

It worked well with Photobucket.  I use to do my blog entries right in Flock so I was nice to drag and drop the photos. But now I use the WordPress editor, however I might take a look again and see if Flock has improved their editor any.

The photobar would be really nice to get in Firefox...but I think you would have to go through and modify source code to get that in Firefox. It would be especially difficult trying to get it into Firefox 2 considering the current release of Flock is still based on Firefox 1.5, but hopefully soon they will release a Firefox 2 version.

I also use Photobucket in Flock and it is really nice. The blog editor still needs a lot of work but I know that the Flock team has posted saying that they are working on adding more features. It is just too basic the way that it currently is so they really need to step it up a notch to attract more bloggers.

Well the WordPress editor ain't much better. Anything modifications to text such as font, size, color etc has to be hand coded. I think I was doing some of my posts in Nvu and then copying the source over to WordPress.

Yeah, no doubt that the Wordpress editor is horrible. I actually use Windows Live Writer and I really like how it handles itself.

I'll second Windows Live Writer...Microsoft did a really good job there.

I think Microsoft sees that the blogosphere is a big upcoming market and they need to get into it now. I'm just wondering if they are going to try and have all of their "Live" products out of Beta before Vista launches, or if they are saving that for launch day. I assume that is also when they are going to open @Live.com email registration to the world.

I have posted about it a few times before.

My first post: http://tech.cybernetnews.com/2006/08/13/download-microsofts-new-windows-live-writer/

The newest version: http://tech.cybernetnews.com/2006/09/27/new-windows-live-writer-released/

It also has a plugin system but many haven't been developed yet. I think there is a Flickr one and a few others. You should definitely give it a shot. It is one of my favorite pieces of software that Microsoft offers, and it has dramatically decreased the amount of time it takes for me to write articles. I'm pretty confident that you'll love it as much as we do. If you decide to give it a try let us know what you think.

I knew you had mentioned it a couple times, just wasn't sure where.  Download and install was simple and looks like it is all setup ready to go now.  I could have used this earlier tonight when I did quick couple posts.  Oh well, I am sure I'll have a chance to try it out on Sunday when I return my regularly scheduled blogging.
