Ctrl+Shift+esc = task manager. Thats the most useful shortcut in the world! Especially when the start bar/explorer stop responding

I'll have to try that at work so I won't have to get to task manager in two steps as it does now.

I forgot about that extra screen that comes up when pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del if users enable the Ctrl+Alt+Del logon. This is also the default method in Windows NT/Server so I guess that shortcut does have some use. :)

Yeah, I use it all the time. If a program becomes too slow, I fire up Task Manager and I kill that program*.  :D

* "Killing a program" is often used in Linux and it means "closing a program the aggressive way" (Task Manager, when you're on Windows).

Yep, that's why there is the "kill" command in Linux. I never thought about how violent Linux is. :D
