Wipteout140: I wasn't a huge fan of Apple prior to the iPod either. But... I think they've definitely done something right with the iPod .I can't say for sure that I'd ever make the change to a Mac operating system... but I can definitely live with (and enjoy) my iPod.

Just happened to catch that line as I was composing my last message.
Wow, now that's pretty funny. Here I am less than two years later with a MacBook Pro. At least I didn't say that I'd "never" make the change. :)

Well I had made a similar statement in my blog a while back about Vista.

I have a pretty funny anecdote about my dad who asks for an iPod because he wants to listen to radio using it.
So I tried my best non technical approach to explain that I'll just get him a separate piece because iPods do not automatically come with radio.

Last Christmas I got myself an iPod classic & I gave my sister a Zen mp3 player and she's quite happy with it.
Gadgets are great gift ideas if you have enough budget.

I actually do wish that the iPods did come with a radio, but Apple probably realizes that people may not purchase as much music then.
