Hi guys, I wanna show off something I've been working on this weekend. I thought to myself: wouldn't it be cool if I could stream any song without downloading it, update my MSN status accordingly and scrobble those songs to Last.fm? This is what I came up with.

DesqPod uses the SeeqPod API to bring music search to the desktop. Everything you see on the screenshot works, except for the configuration dialog and the Last.fm integration.

That is actually a really awesome idea. Let me know when you make it available and I'll write about it.

Just finished a rough test version that isn't quite ready for release yet, but does everything it's supposed to do. The only thing that doesn't work is the "Automatically start with Windows" option in the settings window. But hey, that's just a small detail I'll deal with later. ;)

If you're interested in trying it out, let me know. I have to warn you up-front though: it doesn't come with an installer and it's not gonna work without .NET Framework 3.0.
