Photo/File Sharing Website
« on: November 10, 2008, 08:24:30 AM »
I was wondering if I could get some suggestions from the peeps here for a free online photo/file sharing/communication website.  It needs to be something that is fairly simple and you can make it private to only allow access to those you want to.  I am looking for something that my family can all use to post pictures, write short articles about what they are doing (with pictures), share files, etc., as they are spread around the USA.

If you're looking for an all-in-one solution it sounds like DivShare is exactly what you need. If you're just posting the stuff for family and friends the bandwidth/storage caps shouldn't really be an issue.

I'm not just looking for file sharing, I am also looking for communications as well.

Hmm? For communication, don't you mean descriptions? Flickr has that...
