My folks upgraded to Firefox 3 this afternoon via the major update and both say that their hard drives are being accessed non-stop. I had them reboot, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I have my Firefox 3 installed on one my secondary external drives that is behind me. Even so, I have so much crap going in the background that having the hard drives being access non-stop is not unusual for me. Anyone got any ideas? I looked on mozillaZine but didn't see anything related to this issue.
