Firefox 3 & Embeded Video
« on: June 25, 2008, 04:43:42 AM »
Ever since installing Firefox 3, most embedded video will start to play but stops right after stopping and all video if it plays I can not hear sound.  It worked fine in Firefox 2 and works perfectly in Internet Explorer.  Any suggestions?

It happens when there is only a single one.  This has only happened with Firefox 3.

Have you tried disabling your extensions to see if there is some sort of conflict?

DOH!  Why is it the simple things we sometimes forget about.  Video Downloader was the culprit.  I really hope that extension gets upgraded.  It was one of my favorites.

Thanks Ryan for the suggestion.

Another one of those the developer hasn't done anything with since Firefox 2 came out in 2006. Even checked the developers site and nada.  >80

Glad you got it working! I definitely wouldn't hold your breath for Video Downloader. It looks like Video DownloadHelper has replaced it though:
