Thanks for leaving the crack out because I'm not a big fan of receiving cease and desist letters from companies. ;)

I have never used TuneUp Utilities but it sounds like it is just a paid version of CCleaner?

CCleaner pales in comparison to TuneUp!

TuneUp Utilities is much more than CCleaner.  I like and use CCleaner, but they just do not compare.  For one TuneUp Utilites can defrag your hard drive, recover your deleted files or securely delete your files so they never come back in addition to all the cleanup and optimization functions it has.  I have used it in the past and liked the results, I especially think it's a good solution for people who are not technically inclined.  If you are technically inclined you might feel it does not give you as much control as you like, but still it can be very useful.

TuneUp Utilities is nice in the sense that it has several utilities built into a nice looking interface, although the main features of disk/registry cleaning, and defrag can be done with tools like Ccleaner and Fraggler.  I certainly don't mind paying for software, but I think their price point is quite high considering what it does.

I use Advanced Windows Care http://www.iobit.com/ on almost daily basis.  It does sort of all in one startup program manage, spyware removal, system opimizer etc software.  They have a personal edition which is totally free.  Really neat program!
