Question about Winamp, iPod and podcasts
« on: October 10, 2007, 11:34:40 AM »
While I was messing around with the new Winamp v5.5, I noticed a podcast module and iPod support. Does that mean Winamp can synchronize podcasts to your iPod? Has anybody tried Winamp's iPod synchronization features yet? (I'm scared that it will overwrite my iPod song database with the Winamp song database, so I haven't.)

It does overwrite your iPod song database with the one in Winamp, and I used to use Winamp to sync all of my songs. Unfortunately one of the times that I connected my iPod it didn't want to recognize it so I haven't set it up to resync since then. I didn't notice that it had a podcast module though, but that might be pretty nice and well worth trying it out.
