I dont like having loads of extensions. To start off with, it slows things down. Also, they just ditract from the original product.

But the reason to have a browser that has extensions like Firefox is to install them and customize your browsing experience (or at least one reason to). If you like browsers right out of the box then why not choose IE7? Opera on the other hand is another good browser with a ton of features out of the box.

Oh and my extensions:

I think IE is terrible. I just don't like it, I don't want to be using an insecure browser. I never really got on with Opera either. I like firefox, its pretty much IE6, but better. by that I mean, the look and feel and the way in which it works.

IE7, no chance. I dont like Genuine Advantage, so its not something I want to install.
Microsoft software is not something im happy with installing on my pc. I odnt use Office, I use open office, I use XP grudgingly.

you dont need to install  "Genuine Advantage" to get IE7 .... just fork out 50 quid at aria.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk for xp home if your unsure youve got a genuine copy....

Is it really right down to ?50? I might wait until Vista is out, then get Pro, it should be dirty cheap then.
Vista doesnt interest me either. I might buy a mac instead of upgrading to vista.
